February 5th, 2010 by Free Jordan - Creative Director No comments »All hear me. Speaking from a creative point of view. I stand through the halls of Jones High School old and new.
My eyes fill with water and cloudy my view.
I cannot understand because of what time you attend. That that truly matters at all because of the fight that we’re in
it relates to 1950 and before
through 1982.
I sneeze you bless me then I bless you.
1983 and on until the year 2010 we have accomplished a lot in the short time that we’re in.
My eyes draw cloudy as I learn a new name.
I come to realize that I have no need for shame.
However, my mission this year in 2010
is bring us all together from the divided lines.
I stand proud like my father, my aunts and uncles too. Like my sister in the time that we grew.
No longer black or brown, saying I graduated this year or that.
We all have to come together because family is where it’s at.
Look high, look low it might be hard, yes it seems.
Though my mission will bridge together every graduating class of Orange and Green.
No longer divided.
